Home and Nest Redefine the concept of "human nest"
2010 MASION&OBJET Autumn and Winter Fair examines the gradually blurring private boundaries and the concept of luxury homes in the digital age, and redefines the concept of "human nest" in three trends.
Trend one: "Please interrupt, rebels of home living." Piercing, sharpening, and burning techniques are used under this trend to create furnishing pieces, and a thought provoking attitude is there to remind audiences to re-examine the concept of luxury homes.
Trend two: "Microcosm." In today’s bustling society, home should be a cozy place for rediscovering oneself while experiencing complete
relaxation. It is thus a trend to integrate the home owners′ taste of art into interior design.
Trend three: "Ancient shelter." To cope with the rapid environmental change globally and frequent natural disasters, the best shelters for mankind are migrating back to basics decorating with pristine materials such as, tree branches, and leave utilizing animal patterns to create a home sheltering one′s body, spirit, and mind.
Green and Fresh A whole new meaning of home
Mother nature is the key to the human mind. Franz brings mother nature back to your home decoration healing your mind and body. This years newly launched products continue to focus on Franz′s signature theme: nature.
The tranquil and elegant color palettes demonstrate our love for mother nature and life. The Franz exhibition booth this year is designed based on the theme of environmental protection.
The green bamboo forest and the round bouquet of flowers in the center of the exhibition cabinet showcase the natural environment.
The exhibition booth design was inspired by the Chinese traditional gardens′ window frame, which allows viewers to view the exhibits from different angles. Green is the key color of the exhibition cabinets, which
communicates the environmentally friendly concept.

Green is easy on the eyes and at the same time provides a versatile background to highlight the various porcelain products showcased at the fair. What is most special is that this is the debut of The Realm of Dreams: Philadelphia Museum of Art Collection on the international stage.
Porcelain pieces such as Picasso′s Woman and Children Vase, Matisse′s Yellow Beauty Vase, Modigliani′s Blue Eyed Woman Vase are shown to the public for the first time.
This new collection is Franz′s tribute to the masters of arts on the international stage following the successful Van Gogh Collection partnered with the Dutch Vincent Van Gogh Museum.
Franz′s delicate embossment techniques once again transform paintings into three dimensional porcelain pieces in an innovative art presentation.
