Treasured Masterpieces Rebirth through Creativity
A highlight of cultural exchange between Taiwan and Japan, the Treasured Masterpieces from the National Palace Museum, exhibition opened in June, 2014 at the Tokyo National Museum, having attracted many visitors.
This exhibition presented artifacts duly reflecting refined and vibrant Chinese culture, with an eyecatching “dedicated area” where creative collectibles themed on treasures of the National Palace Museum were on display and for sale, including many appealing items jointly created by Franz and the museum.
The porcelain series, encompassing vases, salt and pepper shakers, and earrings, themed on the “Jade Cabbage” particularly attracted a great deal of attention.
Franz Chen, CEO of Franz Collection Inc., was invited to the opening press conference, where he shared how to make porcelain collectibles through creativity to give the collections a second life while lending priceless cultural sophistication to the time-honored ceramic artistry.
