Music: The Vestiges of Youthful Days

At the age of 18, James became a college freshman, falling in love with music and showing curiosity about everything. Fascinated by the dashing figures of his classmates strumming guitars as they sang, he threw himself into the music world.

At that time, James was a fan of American hard rock bands such as Guns N’ Roses and Aerosmith. He reveals with a smile that his sculpture teacher used to play elegant classical music in class to get his classmates immersed in an atmosphere with the charm of Ancient Greece.

After class, the enchanting melodies by Tchaikovsky immediately gave way to electrifying rock beats.

Emotions: The Essence of Artistic Creation

Speaking of the difference between music creation and porcelain artistry, James says the same principle of creation applies to all art forms.

For example, the porcelain designer first chooses a theme and composes the drawing , then arranges the layout and finally gives variations to his or her piece with hand-picked colors or hand-sculpted details. It is the same as music creation.
