Having been immersed in floral design for more than four decades, Andreas Faber demonstrates a simple yet elegant style for the first time by combining German floral design with Franz’s porcelain.
•The Magnificent-Iris Vase(flower arrangement by Andreas Faber)
For the first time, German Floral Master-Andreas Faber blended his floral design with Franz’s three-dimensional porcelain vases. With a smile on his face, he revealed that although it was challenging, he really enjoyed the process by thinking outside the box.
•Honesty and Virtues-the Lotus Vase(flower arrangement by Andreas Faber)
Honesty and Virtues – The Lotus Porcelain Vase features various shades of blue, with the three-dimensional blue lotus flowers oozing a feeling of serenity and calmness. To the master, this porcelain piece is a flower vase with Oriental elegance.
While he was working on it, the first idea that came to his mind was to build a round structure above the vase to echo its round body.
Honesty and Virtues – The Lotus Vase
The vase takes its inspirational cue from the blue patterns of lotus flowers with interwoven branches commonly seen in works of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
•Flower arrangements by Andrea Faber’s students
The elegant and refined lotus flowers in blossom are put into sharp relief by the blue floral patterns suggested with ink washes, in a truly blend of Eastern and Western stylish artistry.
Moreover, the two Chinese words for “blue” (Qing) and “lotus” (Lian) combine in a pun to sound exactly like “honesty” (Qing Lian), thus sending the message of “absolute integrity and sturdy honesty.”
The item is certainly an excellent choice for home décor, for it will bring elegance to your house.

However, he said that it was a whole new experience for him to unify the rich colors and three-dimensional sculptures on the vase with his floral designs. The master specifically arranged blossoms of matching colors to achieve ultimate harmony between them.
While making floral arrangements, Andreas Faber explained his design concept in a witty and humorous manner.
Although this is the first time he blended his floral artistry with Franz’s porcelain, he truly felt the elements of nature overflowing Franz’s exquisite pieces.
The master revealed that he tries to create balance between the flowers and vase, endeavoring not to overshadow the vase with the flowers.
In fact, what he had in mind was to keep the originality of the vase, aiming to achieve harmony between the ‘flowers’ and ‘vase’.
