Each porcelain artwork is uniquely crafted to convey cultural implications, just like the way dramatists delicately and vividly portray the characters in their excellent plays.

Franz’s designers apply their originality to their work, and create an exquisite collection of porcelain pieces with meticulous care.

Design means developing something from scratch and continuing to build on earlier work. During the design process, at times designers need to be sensitive, and other times they have to be rational; in short, designers must keep a delicate balance between these two states of mind.

Through the interplay and mixture of “sensitivity” and “rationality,” graphic design is perfectly transformed into exquisite porcelain artistry, which will, in turn, fill the designers with happiness beyond description.

Franz’s design team consists of 12 highly talented designers from very diverse backgrounds – some are fine arts majors, others are design majors, and still others accumulated extensive experience in sculpting molds or drawing colored patterns and then made a career change into porcelain design.

The Impressionist master Camille Pissarro once said, “Everything is beautiful, all that matters is to be able to interpret.” Franz’s designers perfectly interpret the emotions existing between nature and humanity.

Only when they create an artwork that not only shows graceful lines, shapes or colors, but also incorporates a thought-provoking philosophy to generate resonance and leave a lasting impression on viewers will our designers feel that they have successfully opened up “mind to mind” communication among people.
