Azalea Flowers Silhouetted Against the Rosy Sky
Created by Designer Jiehwen Lee, the ‘Paradise On Earth’ Azalea Porcelain Vase draws on the scene of blossoming azalea flowers covering the wilderness, featuring a round design in the center of the vase body symbolizing the earth with ubiquitous blooms of the azalea, aimed at enhancing environmental awareness.

The azalea elicits delight and is also referred to as ‘Ying Tian Hong’ (literally means ‘projecting red onto the sky’) in Chinese, for its red hues resembling the rosy sky. In 1987, the azalea was selected as one of the top ten flowers, with the title ‘Beauty of the Flowers’, in an activity ‘Selection of Top Ten Chinese Traditional Flowers’.
Blossoming azalea flowers scent the garden, with the fragrance lingering in the air, symbolizing that the God of Happiness has arrived, showering heavenly blessings upon the earth.
