The Striking Vermillion Peony Vase - Infusing the Creative Elements from the Prime Tang Dynasty

Yu-Yin Chang has been interested in Chinese poetry and drama since childhood. He immerses himself in literature and never stops enjoying it. With his passionate attachment to Chinese culture, Chang infused the elements from the Prime Tang Dynasty into his debut Franz artwork. The Striking Vermillion Peony vase is in the form of a pottery figurine of a Tang woman, with the sculpted peonies representing the chignon worn by the Tang woman. If you take a close look at the piece, you’ll find that the full-blown peonies, which decorate the woman’s jet black hair, symbolize the prosperity and stability of the Tang dynasty.
